Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for your next challenge? My client is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their expanding team in the Knutsford area. The company is in need of new staff due to the increase in work load.

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation of weekly and monthly reports, as required by the management team
  • Overall responsibility for sales ledger, retentions, credit control and cash management
  • Preparation of VAT returns, accruals and prepayments
  • Processing of payroll, CIS deductions, supplier payments, HMRC

The Person

  • Professional accounting / bookkeeper qualification and a minimum of 3/5 years of post-qualification experience desirable
  • Previous experience working within the construction industry would be a distinct advantage
  • Sage experience and excel experience essential
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Able to work to deadlines in a fast-moving and changeable environment
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and mature approach

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum
