Dust and Fume Extraction Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Dust and Fume Extraction Engineer to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of mechanical / engineering extraction.

The Role:

As the Dust and Fume Extraction Engineer you’ll report to the Engineering Director and will be primarily responsible for various on-site service and installation work throughout the UK but mainly in the North West. They also carry out refurbishment of extraction equipment at their workshop, so there is a good balance of in-house and on-site work.

In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:

– Leading a small team

– On-site service and installation

– Refurbishment of extraction equipment

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this Dust and Fume Extraction Engineer role will have relevant experience of mechanical / engineering extraction.

You’ll also need experience of:

– On-site service and installation

– The refurbishment of extraction equipment

– LEV extraction

– Leading a team and working under own initiative

– Extraction pipefitting for 3 years (preferred)

In addition, you’ll need the following:

– A meticulous attention to detail

– A willingness to take on responsibility to lead a small team

– A P601 qualification

– Any other powered access such as FLT or CSCS card would be beneficial

The Package:

Basic salary: £29,120 – £35,360 per annum

Overtime: You’ll also have the opportunity to earn overtime in this role
