We are looking for EC&I Engineers (with either Electrical, Control or Instrumentation bias) with good hazardous areas design experience for 6 month contracts in Cheshire, which are highly likely to be on-going for the right people. Pay rate of circa £40 Ltd / Umbrella rate per hour, or the PAYE equivalent if preferred.

Working as one of the successful EC&I Engineers (with either Electrical, Control or Instrumentation bias), you will take the design from the Process Engineers and design the installation. You will have site experience (for site survey visits) and will have experience of interfacing systems with clients existing systems.

You will have gained good ATEX knowledge OR certification. This could have been on projects such as recycling, refinery, chemicals, materials handling, powder handling, food industry, or similar projects. It would be an advantage if you had Compex certification or knowledge, however this is NOT essential.

Your EC&I Engineer (with either Electrical, Control or Instrumentation bias) industry experience will be process engineering, chemical, petrochemical, oil, gas, materials handling, food or similar.

The client we are recruiting these EC&I Engineers for, is a multi-disciplined design, engineering, and construction consultancy who design, procure and install projects for clients throughout the UK. Working as one of the successful EC&I Engineers (with either Electrical, Control or Instrumentation bias) you will help deliver a variety of process engineering projects for a variety of established end-clients, with outstanding potential for on-going continuity of work.
