We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a permanent basis for a well-established Manufacturing Company based in the Chorley area.
Salary £40,000 – £49,000 per annum (depending on shift pattern)
Hours : Days 8am – 5pm OR shift pattern of 14 days a month, made up of 12-hour day & night shifts with a week off every 3 weeks
Responsibilities
- Perform basic planned maintenance tasks.
- Move materials around site
- Assist the Mechanical Engineers with their daily work
- Keep workshops and work area tidy and organised
- Ensure engineering works are carried out safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- HNC/ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
- 17th/18th Edition Regulations desirable
- Solid practical electrical/ mechanical hands-on experience maintaining machinery, able to work on own initiative.
- A strong communicator, working closely with engineering and production teams.
- Experience within FMCG in a process or packing environment.
- A flexible and detailed outlook is critical, you will be an enthusiastic, motivated individual who believes that they can make a difference.
