In the Electrical or RF Calibration Technician role you will be primarily responsible for all aspects of RF and/or electrical calibration, measuring instrumentation to national standards in a UKAS – 17025 accredited laboratory to ensure a first class service. You will also undertake calibration measurements to the correct procedures, instructions and specifications. Also you will maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilising the relevant business management system.
Specific tasks include:
– Calibration of measuring equipment.
– Maintaining the calibration database and filing system.
– Maintenance of calibration certification and files.
– Participating in interlaboratory measurement audits.
– Ensuring customer satisfaction and timely turn-around on all equipment and service.
– Performing other laboratory support functions as required. in an efficient and orderly manner.
– Endeavouring to complete all work within the budgeted timescale and target dates and ensure proper control and accounting of work.
– Ensuring that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.

To be the right person for Electrical or RF Calibration Technician role you will need direct experience of a customer focused environment. We also need you to have prior experience of windows-based and laboratory automation software.
It’s important that you have knowledge of calibration practices and theories and knowledge of analogue and digital circuit analysis.

The basic salary for the Electrical Or RF Calibration Technician role is between £25,000 – £30,000 per annum.
