We’re looking for a talented Electrical Project Engineer to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of providing engineering support in-house and externally to both overseas company divisions and directly to clients.
If that’s you then you could be exactly what they’re looking for, even if you’ve got limited work experience but have recently graduated in a relevant or related field.
The Role:
As the Electrical Project Engineer you will be primarily responsible for ad-hoc or routine duties as directed by line manager
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Working with the wider engineering team on furnace design and commission
– Providing the business with all necessary engineering support including preparation of procedures, specifications, site visits etc.
– Assisting with tenders and audits where necessary
– Ensuring internal databases are fully accurate and updated on a timely basis
– Taking ownership and responsibility for own behaviour and working environment in line with HSEQ policy and procedure
– Reporting any non-compliance, unsafe act or environment to Line Manager
– Undertaking reasonable ad-hoc or routine duties as directed by Line Manager
– Developing working procedures and instruction documents
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Electrical Project Engineer role will have relevant experience of providing engineering support in-house and externally to both overseas company divisions and directly to clients.
You’ll also need experience of:
– Working in accordance with your departmental HSEQ service level agreement
– Understanding the safer together behaviours
– Carrying out manual engineering calculations
– Control panel design and wiring
– Working independently or as part of a team
– Product development and bespoke solution design
In addition, you’ll need the following:
– An 18th edition
– Qualifications in electrical drawing packages e.g. Eplan or similar
– Engineering (electrical) based degree level qualification
– A BS EN 60204-1 and awareness of other standards as needed
– Strong ICT skills and proficient in the use of MS Office packages
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
