Job Responsibilities as Program Manager

  • Independently leads projects and leads new technology developments with support of Management.
  • Leads schedule Sessions to collaboratively develop timelines for projects.
  • Develops and manages project schedules with focus on critical path.
  • Responsible for delivering project timing, cost, quality, and budget.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to define project scope & design.
  • Translate consumer, customer, and compliance requirements to technical specifications.
  • Identify possible IP conflicts and seek inputs on how to mitigate.
  • Work with broader R&D team to develop product test plans to confirm requirements.
  • Review Supplier or Plant engineers designs and recommends improvements.
  • Hands on product evaluation, including personal informal testing, and review of cross functional formal testing to assure technical objectives are achieved in prototype and off tool samples.
  • Assure technical and compliance objectives are achieved in design and off tool samples.
  • Able to input with updating project spend and CAPEX budgets.
  • Lead team meetings & communication methods that drive project execution.
  • Communicates project expectations and plans to the project team members, management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Identifies, negotiates and supports the resolution to issues within cross functional teams. Escalates when needed
  • Leads the stage-gate development process.
  • Ensures project outputs are consistently high-quality, on time and within budget to all business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, or similar.
  • Consumer products industry experience preferred
  • Previous experience in plastics molding, metal forming, PCBA design, or product assembly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product development and/or project leadership roles.
  • Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.
  • Review skills of 3d Cad designs (Creo) is preferred
  • Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g., critical path).
  • Logical and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possesses basic business financial knowledge.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Project Online and SharePoint.
  • Possesses influencing skills (leads by example, articulates business cases and interpretation of cause-effect impact).
  • Maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships.
  • Effective organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required.
  • Exhibits self-confidence.
