We are looking to recruit a Project Engineer / Contracts Manager for a key client of ours based in Lancashire.

Our client provide process engineering services and solutions to a wide range of manufacturing industries. With extensive experience in process design and project management they are a go to company for many large manufacturers that require complexed process solutions.
They are looking to strengthen the current team by recruiting a Project Engineer / Contracts Manager with mechanical/process engineering experience to manage the quality, cost, supervision and smooth running of key projects from initial concept through to completion.
You will have a formal engineering qualification (minimum HNC/HND), excellent communication skills and although projects are completed by a team you should be capable of working using your own initiative.
A proven track record in project engineering / project management and ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position within a process industry (food, pharmaceutical, chemical / petrochemical) would be an advantage.
Previous experince of managing up to multi-million pound projects.
You will be computer literate and be capable of reading and understanding process and layout engineering drawings.
The role is Monday to Friday but will involve occasional travel and spending time away from home on occasions.
The salary on offer is £40,000 – £45,000 per annum with an added car allowance of between £3,000 and £5,000 per annum dependant on relevant experince.
