We are looking for a Multi Skilled M&E Engineer with an Electrical bias to work on a 6 month contact in Wigan.

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on all Plant and Equipment as required across the sites.
  • Carry out Reactive Maintenance tasks on all Plant and Equipment as required across the sites.
  • Carry out minor buildings work as required across the sites.
  • Provide M&E support and supervision to external contractors when required across the sites.
  • Provide M&E input into site re-layout planning.
  • Due to the nature of respective operations at the 3 sites an element of outside normal working hours is expected, to include call outs on an ad hoc basis. As is travel between the site as work requires
  • Complete documentation as required by the management systems to ensure compliance with OHSAS1800/ISO45001 and ISO14001 Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems.

· Ensure 100% compliance and close out of PPM tasks

· Ensure reactive works are closed out in a timely manner

· Provide ongoing cost saving suggestions to improve material use, energy and water reduction

Qualifications and experience

Must be qualified to City and Guilds II / III or equivalent in an engineering discipline.

· Must have experience of maintaining and fault finding on Plant and Equipment.

· Must have worked in an engineering environment supporting services that include HV, Lift, L8, Asbestos, Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Smoke Detection, Heating and Permit control requirements

· Good I.T skills -Excel and Word (TABSFM with training to close out jobs)
