Applicants are sought to have experience in a mutli-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
Mechanical – Metal Drawing – Rolling Mills/Drives/Gearboxes/Pumps/Welding & Fabrication/ Crane/Maintenance Systems/IPAF Licence Furthermore, you will have worked with Electrical/Instrumentation – Motors (DC, 3 Phase, Servo)/ Motor Control/ Distribution/ Induction Heating/ PLC, HMI/ Flow/ Level/ Temperature/ Position/ Maintenance Systems.
SAP and Maintenance Administration experience would also be ideal
The role will be on a Temp to Perm basis after 6-9 Months. Basic Rate is circa £16.50/ hour (34,320 per annum)
Initially will be 40 hrs per week (anticipate 08.00-16.30) for familiarisation period. Enhance rates for weekend working – Saturday 1.25x and Sunday 1.5x so there’s opportunity to get additional income to above rate.
Intention then to provide shift cover Monday to Friday alternating on a weekly basis between Early (06.00 – 14.00 hrs) and Late (14.00 – 22.00 hrs) attracting shift premiums of 10% and 17.5% respectively.
Long term prospects are also good for the position. Ideally we are looking for candidates who can progress into more of a Maintenance Leader/Planner role, or who currently operating at that level but capable of performing a hands-on role as well.
