A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and talented Procurement Category Manager to join a well-established and yet rapidly growing specialist manufacturing/engineering company based in Lytham.

As the Procurement Category Manager you will lead and actively drive all supply chain requirements and specifically manage the procurement of component direct materials, interface with production planning team and control functions to ensure strategic demands are communicated effectively within the supply chain.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent ad hold CIPS qualifications.

Required experience

  • Competent IT skills, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good communicator and presentation delivery.
  • Experienced procurement manager
  • Comprehensive knowledge of procurement tools and techniques.
  • Automotive or similar industry experience.
  • Extensive ERP knowledge and experience of operation.

The Rewards

  • A salary of £30-38,000 pa is offered dependent on experience,
  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), pension.
  • Working Hours: 39 per week
