We are looking for a Project Manager with highly regulated environment experience for a permanent position in Kent paying up to circa £65k depending on suitability to the below role. Chartered or equivalent professional qualification, with nuclear experience being an advantage but is not essential.

Working as the successful Project Manager you will have good leadership qualities, be highly motivated, well organised and capable of leading & working within a closely-knit team. You will be able to respond well to the demands of working in the environment of nuclear. Be able to communicate, build relationships, be proactive and be part of a team. Success in the role will depend on a flexible working approach.

Project(s) in Scope for this Role include:

*Boiler Lifetime Modifications (value: TBC at interview)

*Discipline: Engineering – any discipline

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

*Environmental and quality standards, company procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.

*Applying the company project controls standards and developing, maintaining, reporting and trending an accurate project baseline.

*Securing, assigning and maintaining a project team containing all the resources required to successfully deliver the project, including specialist support staff.

*Leading and coaching the project team members creating a positive team working environment.

Essential Qualifications & Experience include but not limited to:

*Degree educated in Engineering, any discipline, minimum level HNC, with relevant industry experience.

*PMQ (APMP-level D) formal project management qualification or equivalent with relevant experience.

*Fully versed in modern project management techniques within complex, multi-functional organisations.

*Thorough understanding and knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction and installation/commissioning management and commercial contracting.

Regarding security clearance, you will either have or be capable of passing BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) which is the required level of screening for any individuals working with or on behalf of a government department.
