We are looking for a Scheduler with experience in major construction projects in a project management or project control environment, for a permanent position in London working on a new-build Nuclear power station project in London. Salary up to £57,000 per annum depending on experience.
Working as the successful Scheduler you will report directly to the Project Controls Manager (Scheduling) and be responsible for the direction and co-ordination of all Project Controls activities associated with the design, construction and commissioning of all plant and construction systems to deliver projects within safety, quality, time and cost milestones for a specific area / scope of work. This position supports the development of an overall integrated plan and budget for the project and to establish effective and fully transparent reporting and controls across the whole project.
You will be Degree qualified or have equivalent suitable qualification/experience in Engineering, Project or Construction. You will have excellent P6 experience and a detailed understanding of scheduling methodologies and techniques. An understanding of engineering design and licensing in a UK context ideally within a nuclear safety environment, would be an advantage, as would be French written and verbal language skills.
Successful candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard Pre-Employment check and will be required to undergo various checks including: Identity, Right to Work; Employment/Education History and Criminal Record.
