This is an opportunity for a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a prestigious engineering company based in Shipley, who design and build special purpose machines for the FMCG market.
They are looking for a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter to join the existing team due to an increase in orders.
The Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter duties:
Fitting and Deburr parts to drawing requirements
Building non-complex sub-assemblies from standard operating procedures & fixture
Preparing components for the paint department, washing & masking
Preparing painted components prior to assembly, such as re-tapping, reaming & cleaning machine surfaces
Unpacking parts & equipment. Marking off, drilling and tapping
Fitting exterior equipment: examples include nameplates, labels, guard switches, guarding, hydraulic hoses, auxiliary pumps
The successful Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter will ideally have worked within an engineering environment and understand basic engineering drawings & instructions.
This is a days based role with the hours being Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.15pm & Friday 7.30am-1pm
