Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an Senior Electrical Engineer with good design, chemical, refinery and/or advanced manufacturing industry experience, ASAP for a 6 month++ outside of IR35 contract that will be on-going for the right person based from home, paying up to £45 Ltd pay per hour.

Working as the successful Electrical Engineer you will be working as part of a multidiscipline project engineering team. Responsibilities will include:

*Preferably Chartered Engineer (MIET)

*Suitable level of engineering design project experience including preliminary design, basis of design through to detailed design.

*Sector and project experience in Refinery, Chemicals and or Advanced Manufacturing is preferable.

*Demonstrable advanced experience in the complete suite of electrical engineering design services. This include (but is not limited to) MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, vertical transportation, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, earthing & bonding, hazardous areas and specialist control systems.

*Advanced knowledge of all applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices.


*Preferably Degree qualified or equivalent in related subject (e.g. Electrical Engineering)

*Preferably Chartered Engineer status with IET

*Proven level of experience in engineering, consultancy environment related delivery of capital projects

*Experience in design phase schemes including feasibility, basis of design through to detailed design

*Site commissioning and or construction experience beneficial
