We are looking for a Service Administrator to join a busy service team in a specialist manufacturing company based in Telford, on a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities as the Service Administrator

  • Support the service manager and service co-ordinator to fulfil their duties and tasks
  • Responding to customers when service issues are detected
  • Communicating to field operations to assist in timely and reactive service and escalate cases to the appropriate level for swift resolution
  • Owning the customer resolution life cycle
  • Owning all Help Desk data and information to liaise between engineering queries and parts
  • Work collaboratively with field engineers
  • Support engineer on-site activities
  • Logging and keeping records of customer services issues and solutions in the helpdesk ticket system
  • Manage successful communication with customers through various means; phone, email and conversation
  • Confidently liaise with third party providers to achieve a swift and satisfactory outcome for our customers
  • A willingness to develop a breadth of knowledge across the company and support where required
  • Support liaison for arranging transport and accommodation
  • Arranging, communicating and keeping track of all customer requirements
  • Timesheet verification and sample auditing
  • Expenses verification and sample auditing
  • Auditing all aspects of absence and liaising with accounts department
  • Analysing budgets versus actual costs
  • Departmental support to cover all aspects of service
  • LN10 support liaising with accounts department (LN is Moba’s IT platform i.e. SAGE)
  • Maintain and update warranty documentation
  • Analyse data to write KPI reports
  • Service contract jobs analysis
  • Telecommunications, filter calls to correct colleagues
  • Preparation for annual team / safety meetings
  • Minute taking
  • Maintain electronic safety documents
  • Maintain vehicle safety user checks (completed monthly)
  • General administration for the repair and service of vehicles
  • Analyse vehicle tracking and analysing data
  • Audit and verify job sheet data (job / PO numbers, descriptions, parts etc.)
  • All reasonable requests in the pursuit of running a small business
  • Factory inspection to ensure safe systems and good housekeeping are maintained
  • Delivery of essential parts
  • Using remote access software to assist our customers and fix network issues

Requirements as the Service Administrator

  • You will be expected to have a good level of IT literacy and be able to learn to use new software platform or systems

The Rewards for the Service Administrator

  • Salary up to £25,000 per annum (pro rata)
  • Hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-17:00 at 10:15 a break for 15 mins, 30 mins lunch then at 15:30 a 15 mins break
  • 23+8 days holiday per annum
