Job title: Service Desk Analyst
Location: St. Helens
Salary: £19k-£23k per annum
We’re looking for a talented Service Desk Analyst to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of building and configuring server hardware
If that’s you then you could be exactly what they’re looking for.
As a Service desk analyst you will be responsible for providing consistent great customer service via the effective management of customer support enquiries.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
– Resolving customer issues within service level guidelines (SLA)
– Gathering relevant information from initial call/contact to ensure most efficient troubleshooting
– Managing internal escalations in a timely manner
The standard working hours for this position are 37.5 hours per week- 8:00- 17:30
The ideal candidate for this Service Desk Analyst role will have relevant experience of Networking
You’ll also need experience of:
-Mail Technologies – Understanding and Administration of Exchange 365, Exchange Server 2013 / 2016
-Virtualisation (VMware and Hyper-V)
-Backup Technologies – Veeam, Datto Backup & Recovery
-Windows Desktop – 7, 10
-Experience of using Solar winds
-Understanding of ITIL Framework
In addition, you’ll need the following:
-An understanding of Office 365
-Professional, Polite and cheerful approach both internally and externally
-Appropriate language both by phone and by e-mail to both customers and other support companies
-The Ability to gather all relevant information concisely and document it clearly
Basic salary: £19k-£23k
-33 days holiday entitlement (includes public holiday and is 5 days more than statutory minimum)
-After the completion of 6 months continuous employment, employees are given access to Private Medical
-Insurance and Death in Service Benefit (currently equivalent to 12months basic salary).
-There is a contributory pension scheme into which you will be auto-enrolled (subject to the conditions of the scheme) Current employer contribution is 4%.(April ’22)
