We are looking for a Shipping Administrator with import and export experience in shipping, for an on-going contract in the St Helens area paying circa £12.47 PAYE per hour.
Working as the successful Shipping Administrator, you do not need to be an expert, but do need an understanding/some experience of shipping administration. You will receive training to enhance your skills and will have the opportunity to develop your career and become an expert.
Once an order has been put on the system, you will then follow the order through until delivery by land, sea and/or air, as appropriate. If you have SAP experience that could be advantageous, however any shipping or warehouse IT system experience is fine.
Your experience will include:
- Looking at orders to decide how/when they are going to get to the customer, which could be DAP (delivery at place) or collection
- Releasing orders to Pickers
- You will process orders and paperwork and follow the process right through to delivery
- Customer service skills
- Any stock control experience would be an advantage, but this is not essential
