We are looking for a Site Manager or Construction Supervisor for a buildings refurb and fit-out project in the Gloucester area. Pay rate of c£30-35 Ltd / Umbrella rate per hour, or the PAYE equivalent if preferred. The project is to move existing production lines and also to install a new one, whilst making some facilities upgrades.

Working as the successful Site Manager or Construction Supervisor, you will be either Mechanical biased with some Electrical experience, or Electrical biased with some mechanical. Office refurbishment experience would be an advantage, however this is NOT essential.

*Have a NEBOSH or SMSTS Certificate.

*Petro-chem (or similar) or manufacturing industry experience.

*Site Manager, Construction Supervisor or Construction Manager experience.

*Safety auditing; monitoring contractor performance focusing on safety management and procedures.

*Permits to Work experience. If you do not already have Permits to Work Issuer experience, this can be trained.

*Working to detailed programmes.

*Quality procedure/systems experience – an understanding of, or experience of working to.

It is not essential but would be helpful if you have Office fit-out experience. The project involves Plant, equipment and associated pipework, instrumentation and electrical services. Tie-ins to existing infrastructure and utilities as necessary, e.g. power, compressed air & process chilled water.
