Technical Services Administrator

We are looking for a Technical Services Administrator with good engineering industry experience ASAP for a temporary to permanent position in the Warrington area paying between £10.50 – 15.00 per hour PAYE.

Working as the successful Technical Services Administrator, your background will ideally be from the Food, Beverage, Dairy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical or any other engineering industry. You will also have experience of working in a Sales or Service related environment – automotive, warehouse, distribution, or similar.

The role is to provide support to Service Support Customers, both internal and external. You will ensure enquiries are dealt with in an efficient, effective and professional manner. Spare part handling, order handling, administration for service and automation projects, sales administration and similar.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities – essential:

*To ensure the correct procedure is followed for the vetting of new customers and vendors.

*To handle incoming calls from internal and external Customers.

*To provide administrative support for the Service Business Unit.

*To ensure that all Customer enquiries are handled in an efficient and professional manner.

*To assist and prepare Customer quotes for spare parts and service.

*To source, identify and place orders for all parts using the relevant ERP systems (SAP, IFS, or any other ERP system experience is required).

*To monitor the service provided by Suppliers to ensure all delivery dates are met and communicate to Customers any issues that may arise.

*To assist the Service Sales Managers / Service Managers in the preparation of Service Maintenance Contracts (Automation / Service projects).

*To provide the Service Manager with the relevant information to run the Maintenance Contracts effectively.

*To prepare and invoice spare parts and service work on the relevant ERP systems.

*To ensure the Service WIP (Work In Progress) is kept to a minimum.

*Assist with credit control as and when required.

*To ensure that systems and procedures are followed and highlight problems identified to the Line Manager for all tasks.

*Be aware of responsibilities and follow all QSHE procedures.

*Assist with ad hoc duties as and when they arise.

*Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint experience

*Be able to identify sales opportunities.

*Be aware of the QA procedure.

*Any other Microsoft products
