Workshop Operative

We’re looking for a talented Workshop Operative to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of working in warehouses, workshops, production or assembly lines.

Please note: This is a 12 week contract with GPW, paid between £10 and £11 per hour, then transfer to permanent employment with the client where you’ll received

The Role:

As the Workshop Operative you will be responsible for work for a long-standing, reputable, award winning family business.

Key responsibilities of the Workshop Operative:

-Assemble and test valves from machined components

– Other workshop duties such as packing, dispatch and NDT testing

The standard working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 with 30 minutes for lunch (40 HR week paid).

The Candidate:

Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided, however if you have prior experience working in Warehouses, Workshops, Production or Assembly Lines, then this could be perfect for you.

Full training is provided along with real opportunities for progression. You’ll be trained in most areas, so you’ll be able to work in most departments

Basic salary: £20,748 – £24,150 per annum
