With Easter approaching the children at St James CE Primary in Haydock have been working hard creating beautifully decorated Easter eggs. GPW Recruitment, proud sponsors of Saints full back Paul Wellens, arranged for Paul to visit the school to judge the competition and present the winners with their prizes.
The vast amount of imaginative designs made it a difficult competition for Wello to judge. Despite being suspiciously drawn to the several eggs that dawned black curly hair and a Saints Number 1 shirt Paul made a fair decision, judging on effort and overall presentation and selected his winners.
The deserving winners took home a selection of Easter eggs and a Saints rugby ball signed by the whole team, which were donated by GPW Recruitment.
The winners included Robert Jones for his ‘Jeggward’, inspired by the X Factor finalists ‘Jedward’, and Megan Morris for her Easter inspired Santa’s sleigh.
