On Friday 7th July, we held our annual golf day at Houghwood Golf Club, with us celebrating 50 years in business this year it was a golf day like no other with our ’50’ theme being reflected throughout the day and in our amazing prizes:
- £50,000 in cash prizes available ~ we have 5 Par 3’s each with a cash prize of £10,000 for a hole in one
- £50 for Nearest the Pin on all Par 3’s
- £50 for Longest Drive on 15th & 18th
- £50 for each member of the winning team
As well as the competitions out on the course, we held a charity auction and charity raffle in aid of two causes. The Charity Raffle prize money was in aid of Willowbrook Hospice and the Auction prize money is going towards raising money for a defibrillator(s) in memory of our late Director, Carl Foster, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
We’re delighted to announce this year we raised £2,565 which is a great achievement.
£915 was raised by the raffle and mulligans tickets which GPW has rounded up to £1,500 and raised £1,650 with the auction prizes.
