On Sunday the 19th April, GPW’s Operations Director, Gary Ward took part in the Greater Manchester Marathon.
Runners started at the White City roundabout in Old Trafford and finished outside Manchester United’s stadium, where crowds gathered to celebrate.
In total 7,888 runners started the marathon, with around a hundred others taking part in relay teams of two or four. Gary was able to complete the marathon in a fantastic 3 hours 54 minutes and 17 seconds, beating his previous best.
Gary has spent many months training for the marathon and is extremely pleased with his time. Well done Gary!
