GPW’s own Kristian Barron completed The Great Manchester Open Water 1 mile swim on Saturday 20th July 2013 in an impressive time of 41:33 which is a lot quicker than he expected, after initially predicting 45-50 mins.
Kristian brilliantly managed to finish in 1585th place out 2153 that completed it, of a final total of 3000 had paid to enter.
Finishing times ranged from 0:19:43 to 2:11:03!
In the process he has raised £650.00 for SHINE, (Spina Bifida, Hydrocephalus, Information, Networking & Equality) Which smashed his original target of £200.00!!
