Three leading technical and engineering recruitment businesses have formed an alliance to supply recruitment services to the industrial services company, Hertel.
The ‘Hertel Resource Alliance’ (HRA) will see GPW, NRL and Scantec working in partnership to service all Hertel’s recruitment needs in the UK and Ireland for the next three years.
GPW will cover the South, NRL will recruit for Northern England and Scotland with Scantec responsible for the North West, Humberside and Ireland.
Hertel employs around 3,500 people throughout the UK and Ireland and constructs, maintains and modifies plants and installations for the oil and gas, petrochemical, process and power generation industries. It also designs, fabricates and installs architectural outfitting and modular accommodation solutions for the marine and offshore industries.
The HRA will allow Hertel to benefit from the member companies skills and knowledge within the engineering market and allow them to access three databases of highly skilled personnel.
Hertel’s UK Director Phil Bailey said:
“The proposal for HRA was an innovative solution for our skilled and manual recruitment needs. The HRA members have a good track record in the technical and engineering sector and are able to meet Hertel’s national requirements.”
