GPW started 2021 by promoting 3 of its Divisional Managers to Directors.
Huge congratulations to Mark Clarke, Dave Carr and Carl Foster who were all promoted to Divisional Directors. With over 45 years of combined GPW service we wish them all the best in their new roles.
Mark’s career started in accountancy back in 1994 at an Engineering consultancy in Warrington .After 2 years and part qualified, he moved into a Technical Recruitment role at the same company where he stayed before joining GPW back in 2004. Successfully heading up our Design For Manufacture division he is absolutely thrilled to achieve career ambition of being appointed a Director.
Dave started working at GPW Recruitment with his Dad who was the company Accountant earning pocket money during the school summer holidays doing filing and photocopying. After university Dave formally started at GPW as a Recruitment Administrator within the Trades division, the division he would later manage.
Carl joined GPW in 2003 as a Recruitment Resourcer and was originally tasked with finding candidates and placing them into Engineering companies across the North West. Back then online CV databases were few and far between so paper CV’s had to be meticulously analysed and matched against the roles, a far cry from keyword searching now. Fast forward a few years and Carl became Divisional Manager of the Technical Division.
