Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on a permanent basis for a well-established Manufacturing Company based in the Mold area.

Salary c£40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Hours – Days Monday to Friday, with some weekend overtime available (Summer/Winter shift pattern)

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be joining an established department, where you will play a pivotal part in aiding the Company plans for installation of equipment, whilst ensuring PPM is carried out.
  • As electrically biased multi-skilled maintenance engineer, your role is to assist in maintaining a safe and efficient environment within the company workshops and production units; ensuring all machinery and equipment are running to enable the business to meet its customer requirements.
  • Carry out day-day maintenance tasks and site repairs to assist operations in achieving maximum productivity and performance.
  • Working on various production lines to maintain basic conditions of the machinery and perform improvement activities, as well as repairing breakdowns.
  • Carry out both electrical and mechanical fault finding and maintenance daily.
  • Project work – machine upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement work.
  • Driving a safe culture and eliminate safety risks.

Responsibilities

  • HNC/ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and 18th Edition Regulation.
  • Installation, both 3-phase and single phase.
  • Solid practical electrical/ mechanical hands-on experience maintaining machinery, able to work on own initiative.
  • Experience of working in a GMP environment.
  • A strong communicator, working closely with engineering and production teams.
  • Experience working on conveyors, sensors, automation, etc.
  • Experience within FMCG in a process or packing environment.
  • A flexible and detailed outlook is critical, you will be an enthusiastic, motivated individual who believes that they can make a difference.
