Our client is looking for someone like you to join their team as a Junior Production Engineer.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable on-the-job experience in a production Engineering skill set, with full support from the Technical Manager.
As a Junior Production Engineer you will:
- Work from customer-supplied briefs to turn ideas into reality.
- Provide new product costings using Sage 200 Manufacturing.
- Create and maintain work instructions for manufacturing operators to follow.
- Update and maintain existing product documentation and product costings.
- Work with all other departments including, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, Planning and Manufacturing.
As a Junior Production Engineer you will need:
- A methodical brain to solve problems through design and product engineering.
- GCSE or A-Level in a design-based subject.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent knowledge retention, this is a multi-faceted technical job role.
- With a proactive approach to process efficiency, we are always looking to work smarter, not harder.
As a Junior Production Engineer you will benefit from:
- Having previous design, engineering and/or manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of SketchUp – Used for creating 3D models and product renders.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator – Used for creating images, artworks, labels and digital prints.
