GPW Recruitment’s Operations Manager, Gary Ward, ran the Great North Run 2013 for the Steve Prescott Foundation and raised over £500
Gary, who runs for the St Helens Striders and is a St Helens 10K committee member, was part of Team Scoff who organised travel up to the north east and hospitality last Sunday.
“The weather was quite wet and cold but it didn’t dampen what was an amazing day!!! It also looks like all runners will be entered into the Guinness World Record’s for being part of the largest Gangnam Style on the planet (approx 56,000). The course was quite hilly to be fair which made the finishers medal at the end even more fantastic.” comments Gary Ward, Operations Manager
It was only fitting that Gary ended the race doing the “Mobot”.
